This restaurant, on the town square at the side of the estuary in this picturesque Devon town, has something to offer all members of the family.
Their famous carvery is open on Sundays, and is well worth waiting for. An average meal for one, of two courses with wine, will cost about £15.
They also serve morning coffee, a wide variety of delicious lunches, afternoon cream teas and evening meals.
There is a lovely ice cream parlour and even a traditional fish and chip takeaway. Open daily, there is ample parking nearby.

Café Asia is the newest and arguably Beverly Tsang’s most exciting project to date where she opens her doors and together with her son-in-law David, welcomes you to experience an innovative style of dining to Kingsbridge.
It is situated in the former Blue Dolphin Bistro at the lower end of town, in Mill Street. The premises has undergone a total transformation offering diners stylish and contemporary surroundings in which to spend a pleasant evening enjoying fine food and friendly service.
With a menu exclusive to the restaurant, diners are able to choose various dishes from around South-East Asia, a region which boasts some of the most vibrant and flavourful cooking in the world – irresistible specialities from Canton, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia and Vietnam. Your tastebuds will be taking you halfway around the world and that is all without leaving the dining table!
Café Asia does have a separate takeaway section where the former Lotus Garden has relocated to and the already extensive menu will remain on the whole, unchanged.
