"Saturday saw the second annual Scrummies Lunch held at High House, an event organised for the ladies involved with the Club. In excess of 70 women enjoyed the day which raised money for local charity, The Triangle Centre.
Our special thanks go to the local businesses that supported the event; The Hen House, Will Wood, The Old Bag Company, Burts Chips, Quay Physio, Uppercutz, Silhouette, Bloomers and thedinnerservice.com.
Sophia Robinson, who organised the event along with Sue Darke, said "This year was even better than last year and we hope that we can build on the success of the event in future years. A total of £750.15 was raised and we would like to thank everyone who came for their support and generosity and also those who supported the event by purchasing raffle tickets"
