The role of the Committee is to organise events and activities that raise additional funds on behalf of KRFC for the benefit of the Club and its members.
The Committee is chaired by Elizabeth Bewley-Jones and consists of members drawn from all sections of Club Members.
New members on the Committee are Nicki Barlow, Jane Partridge and Jane McCoy.
The Special Events Committee is planning a number of social Fund Raising events for the Club so get your diaries out now!!!!
The first event being held is the Wine tasting evening at the Ship Inn on Friday 1st of February. A five course dinner prepared by Master Chef Chris Bowles with wines from around the world!! There limited tickets available. Tickets available from Elizabeth Bewley- Jones 01548 857130
The Committee are also planning a “Race Night” which will be held at the Club House for the first time on Friday 27th June. The evening will comprise of a meal and 8 races which will enable you to demonstrate your skill and ability of picking winners from some of the leading Jockeys and horses!!!
Each race is sponsored as is each horse giving you plenty of opportunity to win!! It is £50 to sponsor a race and £10 to sponsor a horse with your own name (ie Empty Wallet by Wife out of Clothes!) WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!!!
The Annual Beer Festival will be held at The Creeks End on Sunday 3rd of August. A real family day out is being planned so watch this space!!
In addition the committee also run the '100 Club' with monthly prizes of £30, £20, £10, quarterly prizes of £50, £25, £10 and the Grand Christmas prizes of £200, £100,and £50, all for the price of a pint of beer a week!
